Most of the people around the world would be sticking only to Microsoft Windows.But there are plenty of other operating systems available. I would only discuss about Windows and Ubuntu as I have good knowledge about them. I suggest you to install both Windows(XP or7) and Ubuntu in your system.As most of the softwares are designed for Windows and so it has the first priority. Ubuntu is best for browsing,chatting especially Pidgin Messenger in it is very useful.The features and tips regarding the OS will be included in the below posts separately.Minimum Software Requirements::1GB RAM or higher (even 512mb would be working)Dual core or higher processor will be more convinient
